I remember being very young and being unable to decide which feature I enjoyed the most: hidden headlights (like these and the ones you can find on an Alfa Montreal) or the popup headlights (MX5 style).

To this day I still can’t decide. But I’m guessing these hidden headlamps are still legal under the European standards, unlike the popup ones. So why is this a lost feature? It adds such a tremenduous amount of the cool factor.
