Body by Pininfarina. It was part of Lancia’s racing program in the early 50’s, building four of these for the 1953 Mille Miglia, in which they did quite well.
James Dean & the Porsche 550 Spyder (1955)
You can’t spell James Dean without Porsche 550 Spyder, and vice versa. Well, you can, but you can’t. They’re so deeply linked today, unfortunately not due to the best reasons.
Porsche 718 RSK Spyder (1960)
—Love the detail of the gear shifts written with a black marker on the dashboard panel. Which is a nice touch, otherwise I would have gone form 1st to R and ruined a 718. You don’t want that to happen.
Ferrari 340 MM Competition Spyder.
The only remaining example until today, here driven by Giuseppe Farina in the 1953 Mille Miglia.
