Monaco is close, peeps!

So here are a few Monaco Grand Prix posters for your pleasure, sadly in low resolution.

The 1967 poster hangs proudly on my bedroom wall, I’m eager to get my hands on a few more. I need a bigger apartment though :)

During the 1972 Monaco Grand Prix, Beltoise would become a different man, knowing no limits for what he and his BRM could take.
During heavy and thick rain, Beltoise managed to finally get his well deserved win in Formula 1.

Lotus 80 (1979, Monaco)
When Chapman designed the Lotus 80, he wanted to take the ground effect (which had worked brilliantly in the 79) a level further.
The whole car was designed to work like a huge wing, developing massive amounts of downforce. In theory, it should have been great — but it wasn’t. Andretti found it to be undriveable, and for the rest of the season Lotus were back to the good ol’ 79.
