Jowett Jupiter (1950)
Jowett’s one and only sports car used a tubular spaceframe and a chassis made of a mixture of steel and aluminium. It manage to be quite distinctive even though its form followed mostly function - those hinges in the front were there to provide great access to the engine compartment.
In the early fifties it did manage to get a few class wins at Le Mans.
