The Fords GT40 alignment for the 1967 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
One of these would be driven by Dan Gurney and lead him to victory, with a flawless driving style (the pretty one, dressed in red).

With commentary, and as usual, pure racing sounds.

Le Mans 24 Hours, 1966. Ford GT40 MKII’s. The finish that could have made Ken Miles the only person to do the unthinkable.

Le Mans 24hrs 1966. Ford GT40MKII.
-This car officially put America on the map of Auto Racing. I know, there were other American race cars out there made that made their print, but this one was on a serious level. Everyone looked at this race as “The” race to win. LeMans is a race that proves that you are one of the best auto makers on so many different levels. Ford did that. 4 times. In a row. This win and car helped achieve that goal, the goal of being the best. No other race car has made such an impact on a company, on a city (Detroit!Chea!) and on a country, and I don’t think it will happen again.
