Cadillac Eldorado (1959)
Here’s something interesting: the design of the 59 Eldorado was from Cadillac themselves, but the actual build was comissioned to Pininfarina.

Revisiting some of my old photographs today… I don’ think I ever gave this one enough credit because it’s just a showroom picture, but as I gave it the “16-year-old-girl-with-an-iphone-camera” Photoshop treatment, I kind of like it.
We don’t get to see many of these around here, and unfortunately I couldn’t find its owner to begin my usual session of annoying questions. I love the simplicity of the steering wheel.
This postcard likely from the fifties, shows a nice group of visitors arriving in a Cadillac convertible. Interesting that it doesn’t show the hotel, though with a name like Biltmore, you would think it to be pretty nice.

1976 Cadillac postcard:
It looks like we are moving again, so I’m working in the garage. Found a lot of postcards and photos I have not seen for a long time.
