Alfa Romeo Proteo concept-car (1991)
The basis for the well loved GTV was first shown at the 91 Geneva Motorshow, with hints from the previously launched SZ Zagato in its design. It featured a (very well tuned) 3.0 V6 engine and four-wheel drive.
When the first GTV hit the public a few years later, Alfa lovers were quite pleased to see so many resemblances to this gorgeous concept car.
Designed from Alfa Romeo in-house’s Walter de Silva.

Williams FW14 (1991)
Riccardo Patrese once said that the FW14 was so fast through the corners that it was really uncomfortable. It was truly glorious piece of engineering for Formula 1, developed by a very hungry-for-victory man, Adrian Newey.
It used a V10 engine from Renault and provided some of the best moments in Formula 1 history, at the hands of Patrese and Mansell.
I’m not sure whether this is Andrea de Cesaris or Bertrand Gachot.
However, this beautiful, remarkable and passionate aerodynamic sculpture with wheels is the Jordan 191 — Jordan’s first Formula 1 car and Michael Schumacher’s first jump into glory.
There are only a few sponsor liveries that really worked towards the grand design of an F1 car. The 191 sure sits high at the top.
Edited: it’s Gachot! You can tell by the pixels (of the helmet, that is).
