BMW 328 Mille Miglia (1938)

In 1939, the 328 managed to win the RAC Rally and become first of its class at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In 1940, the Touring Coupé won the Mille Miglia event with an average speed of 166km/h.

That’s quite some pedigree for its time.
