Daimler 2.5 V8 (1966)
Aside from the engine (which was from Daimler itself), badges and minor interior details, the Daimler 2.5 was otherwise the very same car as a Jaguar Mk II.

See what I mean? These two belong to the same owner, which is a portuguese bloke who lives nearby. A man of taste.
Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5 Evo II (W201)
Despite one’s love for vintage rides and knowing at the tip of your tongue how to win every argument of “classics are better than your 2 ton sofa, piss off”, there are times when we’re walking by the side of the road and we spot one of these sofas which, at the time, actually don’t look too bad.
Just the other day I saw a very pretty 2011 Mercedes E Class Coupé and thought “Well, I could live with this. It’s pretty and should ride well.”.
But I’m wrong — wrong every single time. As soon as I lay my eyes on a 190E Evo I instantly know where the heart belongs. That’s why you should always keep a photo of your loved ones on your wallet.

Lancia Flaminia 2.5 Loraymo (1960)
Now here’s something awesome from Lancia. Not that you ever doubted it.
The Flaminia 2.5 Loraymo was a mad prototype built in the early 60’s, which had as its main feature, the fact that it was designed by Raymond Loewy, the same man who designed the Coca-Cola bottle some years before. It was meant as a design exercise, a concept of giving an all American body to an Italian soul.
It was powered by a 2.5 litre V6 Nardi engine, developing about 150bhp.
