Fiat Abarth 850/1000 (1960) Unlike the smaller Abarths of the sixties, the 850 / 1000 had a very powerful engine (112bhp) but remained with the same low weight philosophy. I can’t even begin to imagine what’s like driving a matchbox which is putting so much power (and weight, since these were rear-engined) into the rear wheels. I smell fun, and a lot of it!
