Citroen Ami 6 (1961) “—For you, my lady” Styled by Flaminio Bertoni, who was already quite intimate with the french brand, the Ami had a particularly interesting marketing campaign, which was almost 100 percent targeted at the ladies. The Ami is probably the most controversial model among the Citröen’s lovers mainly due to its unique rear styling, but despite this it sold very, very well in France during the 60’s. And guess what — women loved it! The Ami 8 was launched a few years later with a few changes, perhaps losing a bit of characters as well.
