My father used to be a taxi driver, alongside my uncle, in the streets of Oporto during the early 80’s. They both bought a 1977 MB 300D which my uncle still used as a taxi until the early 90’s.

Why am I telling you this? Because I wanted to share with you this: that noisy, heavy, smelly diesel machine has now a bit more than 2.4 million kilometers on the clock. The engine has built rebuilt twice, but it’s still the same.
