Facel Vega (1955) Perhaps the most interesting feature of the Vega was its interior dashboard. Make a quick research and some of you will tell me it’s just a plain wood interior, like so many others. But it isn’t. Its actually made of sheets of thin metal, painted exactly like wood. Some say it even aged just as well as real wood. Here’s a quick shot so you can appreciate the detailed work. And as asaucerfulofwheels pointed out, that is Dean Martin. So much for my attention to detail… human detail, at least.
